Hoosier Mama's year in review....a new sauce in the works for 2014!

It has been a very busy December AND year for Hoosier Mama!

Developing and testing new recipes, getting the kitchen state- and city-licensed, obtaining a city business license, setting up 2 websites, and a PayPal account, getting BBQ sauce into 7 locations in Maine, doing a couple of craft fairs and 2 taste sampling at Bow Street Market....ONE TODAY (Dec 28th, 2013)!!

The VERY latest happening for Hoosier Mama has been a new sauce!!  She has been in the kitchen working on a new BBQ sauce for those of you who are a little weak at heart with spice, so to speak.  She is still working on the recipe and is in her second recipe, using some new ingredients too.  Should be delish!  

There will be an announcement when the new sauce is being released and people can start ordering it.  Can't wait for you to try the newest creation by Hoosier Mama!!

A little more about me.....

Hello there!!  I am a graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington and currently a Stay at home mom with a Master's in Education too, who loves to cook, wanted to make pulled pork and couldn't find a sauce that she loved. So, she made her own from scratch!! And thus...Hoosier Mama's Slammin' BBQ sauce was born.

My original sauce is a homemade tomato-based BBQ sauce; tangy with a kick, excellent with pulled pork! 

I now have 4 more sauces: Autumn Apple BBQ, Sweet Hot BBQ, Zing Zang BBQ, and Big Red Buffalo.

To give people the BEST tasting and original flavored BBQ sauce they've ever tasted!

In my Maine state licensed kitchen, I make FIVE sauces to order...in TWO sizes: 8 ounces and 16 ounces.

Original Hoosier Mama's BBQ: this is my original sauce. It is a tomato-based BBQ sauce, tangy with a kick, excellent with pulled pork.

Autumn Apple BBQ: Sweet with fresh apple puree and warm spices.

Sweet Hot BBQ: HOTTER than my other BBQ sauces and sweeter too.

Zing Zang BBQ: Asian flavors meld with this BBQ sauce. Amazing on shrimp and other seafood.

Big Red Buffalo: Hoosier Mama's BBQ meets her version of Buffalo sauce. This one's a HOT one!

*** I can ship sauce to you using USPS Priority Mail, flat rate. 

The new shipping prices went into effective 1/27/13. 

A medium sized box is $13 and will fit up to 5 large jars of sauce.

Things have been busy for Hoosier Mama!  I have been selling in stores since August of 2013, and now have 7 accounts with different stores in Maine.

The local newspaper was here this morning to interview me, and I am excited to see what the next chapter holds for Hoosier Mama and her BBQ sauce.

March is here!!

It's been a while...but that's what happens in Maine in the wintertime.  Although, today, I feel refreshed!! The new Daytime Savings time beginning today, and the sun has been out the past 2 days.  The snow is melting and making me get even more excited about spring and summer, and all of the awesome, delicious meat we will be grilling and slathering with HOOSIER MAMA'S Slammin' BBQ Sauce!!
